The mission of the Chicago Bible Society is:

• To encourage the reading and study of the Bible by providing the Scriptures free and without doctrinal note or comment to those who wish to receive them, but are least able to obtain them.
  
  
• To provide Bibles, Testaments, Portions, and Selections for use in prison and hospital ministries, inner-city missions and outreach programs, and person-to-person evangelism.
  
  
• To provide Scriptures for the visually or hearing impaired and simplified Scriptures for those with learning disabilities or for new readers.


• To constantly search for and initiate every appropriate means to acquaint many with the relevance and importance of the Bible
